Temporal Games is a company of entertainment software creators. We started in 2003 as a garage game development team and went a long way before forming as a commercial enterprise. Throughout that period of unconstrained experimentation, we were able to define several foundational principles that we now daily use in our work.
We strive to create audiovisual experiences that go beyond their respective media. We strongly believe in the importance of an each and every component of a video game creation. A game can emerge from anything - an appealing game character concept, an atmospheric musical composition or an innovative game mechanic. No matter which individual or collective part becomes the project's fountainhead, everything must be brought to the level of a polished, standalone work of art.
Equal opportunity is another important tradition at Temporal Games. Video game is a collective medium, and so each game concept should accumulate input of all the various professionals working on it. We support system of internal pitches that lets every developer at the company a chance to prepare a game concept, which can become a parallel project at the company. Internal pitching helps us explore new genres and styles and widen our portfolio spectrum.
Currently, we aim at mobile platforms as they provide a lot of opportunity for yet to be explored ways of interaction and gameplay experimentation. With our flagship projects, we put a strong emphasis on artificial intelligence, on the idea of almost constant connection that may exist between the player, the game world and its inhabiting characters. We hope that, through our handcrafted calibration of those player-game character connections, we would be able branch out a new type of games that would center on artificial intelligence relationships as the primary gameplay mechanic.
